Vibratory Wastewater Treatment

Fully-Automatic & Semi-Automatic Centrifuges

Process water recycling systems can be connected to virtually any mass finishing machine. This increases the savings potential of mass finishing. Most mass finishing processes such as de-burring, precision grinding, rough grinding, radiussing or polishing are wet processes. Water and cleaning agents (compounds) are the carriers for resultant removal of media and metal fines.

The resultant process water is completely recycled via a closed-loop system. Water and compound savings contribute to significant cost reductions. The system technology is based on special centrifugal technology with an acceleration factor of up to 2000 g, coupled with environmentally-friendly chemistry developed in-house.

Process-water circulation systems can be adapted to any mass finishing application. Semi- and fully-automatic centrifugal systems are available.

The Flocculent System Process

Stage One:

The RT Unit is filled with effluent. The turbine mixer is started and DH Reactant is added. After five (5) minutes of mixing a large floc will form. The mixer is then stopped and settling of the floc to the bottom of the tank occurs, usually in a couple of minutes.

Stage 1

Stage Two:

Once the settling, or phasing, of the floc has occurred, draining and filtering begins. Clarified water from the upper area of the tank is drained first, followed by the floc (sludge). Filter media captures the solids, allowing the clarified water through to a clean compartment. A discharge pump automatically transfers the fluids to sewer or recycling vessel.

Stage 2

Stage Three:

An automated conveyor advances the filter media and sludge as needed. This usually requires only five (5) feet of filter media. An included self-tipping sludge gondola captures the filter media and sludge for disposal. The sludge dries to cake, without need of a filter press. The process is now complete. The water will pas local discharge limits, and the sludge will pass TCLP.

Stage 3

The Need for Industrial Wastewater Treatment Equipment

As industries continue to evolve and expand, the issue of industrial wastewater management has become increasingly critical.

Recognizing the urgent need to address this challenge, governments around the world have implemented increasingly stringent regulations governing the discharge of industrial effluents.

Investing in state-of-the-art wastewater treatment technologies is not only a legal requirement but also a strategic imperative for forward-thinking industrial operations, as it enables companies to avoid the costly consequences of non-compliance, demonstrate their commitment to environmental stewardship, and unlock opportunities for water reuse and recycling.

To meet the growing demand for industrial wastewater treatment, IndustrimaxNY has developed a comprehensive portfolio of cutting-edge equipment designed to address the unique challenges faced by a wide range of industries.

Helpful Tips for Choosing the Right Industrial Wastewater Treatment Equipment

Choosing the right industrial wastewater treatment equipment is crucial for efficient operations and environmental compliance.

Here are some helpful tips to consider when selecting the appropriate equipment for your facility:

Assess Your Needs: Before selecting equipment, conduct a thorough analysis of your wastewater characteristics, including volume, chemical composition, and contaminants present. Understanding these factors will help determine the type of treatment system required.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the equipment you choose meets all local, state, and federal regulatory requirements for wastewater treatment. Non-compliance can result in fines and operational disruptions.

Technology Fit: Research different technologies and their suitability for your specific wastewater treatment needs. Options may include physical processes like filtration, chemical treatments such as oxidation, or biological processes like activated sludge systems.

Cost-Effectiveness: Consider both the upfront costs and the long-term operating costs of different treatment systems. While some equipment may be more expensive initially, it might offer lower operating costs and better contaminant removal efficiency.

Scalability and Flexibility: Choose equipment that can adapt to changes in your production volume or process modifications. Scalable solutions will allow you to expand capacity or adjust treatment processes without requiring entirely new systems.

Maintenance and Support: Look for equipment that is easy to maintain and supported by reliable customer service. Regular maintenance is essential for optimal operation, and having access to expert support can resolve issues more quickly.

Energy Efficiency: Select equipment that operates efficiently to reduce energy consumption and operational costs. Energy-efficient systems not only save money but also contribute to environmental sustainability.

Vendor Reputation and Experience: Choose equipment from reputable vendors with proven experience in your industry. Experienced vendors can provide valuable insights and recommendations based on past installations and performance outcomes.

Key Components of industrial Wastewater Treatment Equipment

  • Filters: These remove particles and impurities from wastewater. Types include membrane filters, gravity filters, and media bed filters.
  • Reverse Osmosis (RO) Systems: Using a semipermeable membrane, these systems remove contaminants from water through pressure.
  • Screens: Often used at the beginning of the treatment process to remove large items from wastewater.
  • Separators: These remove oils and other pollutants that float on the surface.
  • Aeration Equipment: Introduces air into the wastewater, promoting the growth of microorganisms that break down pollutants.
  • Chemical Additives: Used to treat water by neutralizing harmful substances or enhancing the treatment process.
